Felix Lopp
Piano, composition


Felix Lopp is a German pianist and composer. He studied jazz piano with Tino Derado at the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2020. He also studied for a semester with Jan Lundgren and Loic Dequidt in Sweden.
In 2020 he began his master’s degree with a major in composition / arrangement in Leipzig with Ralf Schrabbe and Michael Wollny.

In addition to his own projects, he played with Mino Cinelu (Miles Davis live, Weatherreport), Fiete Felsch (Sax NDR Big Band), Mischa Schumann, Erik Schäfer, Jürgen Attig and Lucy Diakovska (No Angels), Chris Murray (Phantom of the Opera , Les Miserables), Ethan Freeman (Phantom of the Opera), Mark Seibert and other musicians from the German jazz and musical scene.

He also worked a lot as an arranger and composer for commercials for Siemens and Volkswagen, for example.

2021: first place "Kurzsuechtig" competition film music & sound design

2020: first place in the 7th international Jazz Composition Contest Katowice, Poland

2014: first place with "Felix Lopp Trio" at "Hört Hört Hildesheim"
